Trash Collector

Sticky Caterpillar (Synchlora sp.)

Caterpillars of some species of emerald moths have a sticky substance on their bodies and adorn themselves with bits of flowers for camouflage.

Gosh seeing this and reading how they "adorn" themselves with bits of flowers makes me ask: "How can anyone ever think other species have no intelligence?" Survival skills are just such a remarkable thing to observe. Great photo Marvin!!!
